Peja is known as one of the oldest cities in Kosovo and is one of the most beautiful, rich in cultural-historical potential, and rare natural beauty.
The municipality of Peja alone covers an area of about 20 km². The city of Peja lies in the Lumbardh valley, surrounded by the Albanian Alps, and has a population of nearly 100,000 inhabitants.
Based on the terrain in which it lies, Peja has great attractive tourist resources that satisfy lovers of untouched wild nature, as well as admirers of idyllic rural landscapes and researchers interested in traces of the past.
Its characteristics include the Carshi-Mosque, built around 1600-1700, and Haxhi Zeka's Tower.
