Chopin Piano Fest "Pristina" is a festival established for the first time on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the Chopin Association of Kosovo.
Due to its great success and appreciation by the audience in Kosovo, it has become a traditional piano festival held annually in the spring (April). The festival is highly regarded by critics, fans, and a growing audience as an excellent showcase of piano mastery, offering performances by both world-renowned pianists and local talent.
Chopin Piano Fest Pristina provides opportunities to see and enjoy live piano performances by prominent local and international pianists performing piano works not only by Chopin but also by other well-known classical and contemporary composers. Chopin Piano Fest Pristina usually takes place in April, with two to three concerts held each week.
The closing concert is always organized in cooperation with the Kosovo Philharmonic and offers two different piano concerts in the evening. The festival includes concerts, master classes with students, and symposium roundtables dedicated to the life and work of the composers.
