Lake Badoc was created during the period 1963-1966 in the village of Badoc, part of the municipality of Gracanica.
The primary purpose of constructing this lake was to supply drinking water to the municipality of Prishtina. Today, in addition to providing drinking water for the Prishtina region, it also serves as a recreational spot for many local and foreign tourists.
The lake covers an area of 246 meters in width, 52 meters in height, and has a length of 3.5 kilometers.
