"Skanderbeg" Square is the main square located in the center of Tirana, Albania. The square is named after the Albanian national hero Gjergj Kastrioti Skanderbeg. The square is surrounded by the Palace of Culture, the Tirana Hotel, the National Museum, and the Bank of Albania.

The history of the square began in 1917, about 100 years ago, when the first parliament in Tirana was built, in the building where the Puppet Theater is currently located. Later, during the time of King Zog, the first ministries with Italian-style architecture were built in this area.
