Ethno Fest is a cultural event held in the village of Kukaj during the summer. Over the years, the festival has evolved into more than just a display of traditional food and folk music. Artists such as actors, dancers, musicians, cooks, painters, and photographers showcase their creations under the open sky.
The festival has a multimedia character, featuring three programs rooted in tradition: theatrical performances, exhibitions, concerts, archaic rituals, and contemporary performances inspired by traditional themes. The founder of Ethno Fest is the renowned Albanian director Fadil Hysaj. The festival typically lasts 5 to 7 days.
